Role
RESOURCES ARE REQUIRED TO WORK IN NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS.
This position offers experienced operation manager to overseeing batch operation for on-premise and on cloud customers. Successful candidates will have a deep background in managing Production support teams and running IT business operation to supporting 24X7 production & non-production environments. Technical skills as well as written and verbal communication skills are equally important to this role.
Responsibilities
Taking care of logistics to run 24X7 operations Work closely with onsite operation manager on daily activities Produce monthly quality metrics for service First level of escalation of any issue in daily operations Being an operations manager, you must be ready to jump on any call/issue/escalation at any time of the day Responsible for overall service delivery from offshore
Requirements
University degree in Engineering in IT or any other discipline, Computer Science or any of its equivalents. BTech/BE preferred, MCA is acceptable Have 8- 15 years of experience in running 24x7 Production Support at L1/L2 level Experience in Inbound and Outbound processes via IVR preferably with US customers Hands on experience in Unix administration and shell scripting Hands on experience in SQL/PLSQL, scripting and DB fundamentals is a plus Experience in incident management using any tool Good written and verbal communication Good in ITIL concepts and processes Experience in resource management Experience in stakeholder management and incident escalations
