Responsibilities

The Practice Manager supports day-to-day internal practice management activity to drive growth and execution of strategy on behalf our practice/team leaders. This role reports directly into the Enterprise Package Solution Practice Management (PML). In addition, this role collaborates heavily with our firm’s Enterprise Solutions & Operations (ESO) functions in support of their team and business needs. Building and driving operational excellence and focusing on continuous improvement across the practice, business line, and consulting service line is also a key aspect of this role.

Financial and Operational SupportAssist with financial budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.Review monthly KPIs with PML, Team Leaders, and Finance team and assist with any necessary action items.Monitor chargeable hours, utilization, overtime, and travel.Project Quality Management monitoring of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Work in Process (WIP)Project Quality Management  monitoring of Compliance for Engagement letters, MSA’s, and Terms & Conditions updates.Support Expense Management of employees, subcontractors, vendors, software and subscriptions.Respond to financial and operational outliers, trends, and/or resolve potential issues to support business growth as identified by Finance.Assist in the rollout and execution of new processes, technologies, reporting, and special projects.Business Development SupportSalesforce (CRM software) Opportunity Pipeline Oversight – guidelines, training, and support.Review Sales Pipeline Reports for forecasting.Liaison with Baker Tilly Marketing and Growth Strategies Teams.Oversight of business alliance membership renewals and fee processing.Prepare periodic reports and presentations on key business development metrics.Resource / Talent Management / StaffingWork closely with Resource Managers, Partners, and Project Managers to ensure engagements are staffed appropriately.Gain an understanding of the skills and experiences of team members along with their career goals and aspirations to ensure client assignments align accordingly.Partner with  Resource Management to ensure system and skills database accuracy.Assist Resource Management and Talent Management as additional team member considerations are needed for staffing or performance-related matters.Review business pipeline reports and identify potential staffing constraints in the businessRecruiting / Onboarding / TrainingLiaison with Resource Management, Talent Management, Learning and People Solutions.Identify recruiting priorities based on business pipeline and business strategy (e.g. financials / headcount / skills / levels / locations, etc.).Support and execute new hire onboarding activities (experienced and campus).Support the execution of the team’s Continuing Professional Education (CPE) training curriculum.Internal Projects and InitiativesCoordinate the timely execution of business plan strategic initiatives tied to day-to-day operations oversight.Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings and events.Create and edit presentation materials with clear messaging tied to business strategy and execution.Liaison with Firm Support teams (e.g. People Solutions, Enterprise Technology, Legal, Finance, etc.)..Participate in Consulting and firmwide strategic initiatives to improve systems and processes to support business growth.

The successful candidate will have:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field required.Four (4) to eight (8) years of operational support experience, with a minimum of two (2) years in the professional services industry preferred.Demonstrated analytical, organization, interpersonal, problem solving, project management and change management skills.Excellent written/verbal communications and collaboration skills.Ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities while driving key deliverables.Strong supervisory skills.Build relationships and networks across the organization to help drive strategy and/or affect change.Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.Self-starter, with initiative/leadership, and able to work independently when needed.Ability to demonstrate integrity and respect within a professional environment. Always maintain a professional demeanor and use discretion in preserving confidentiality when appropriate.Demonstrated level of technical proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power Bi platform at Intermediate or Advanced levels.Ability to work 45 or more hours per week as needed.Ability to travel; potentially up 15%

"The compensation range for this role is $95,360 to $206,610. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location."
