$20.00/Hr. - $24.00/Hr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

The Consumer Audit Analyst is responsible for conducting audits of consumer banking operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. This role involves analyzing financial data, assessing risk management processes, and providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will support the Credit Department by providing analyst assistance with various external and internal audits including audit preparation, supporting business units with updates to process and procedures, and assisting in the closure of any identified issues.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive audits of consumer banking operations, including loans, deposits, and customer service processesEvaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practicesAnalyze financial data and transaction records to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential areas of concernPrepare detailed audit reports with findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendationsLead review and updates to guidelines, process maps, and procedure documents related to audit recommendationsSupport audit remediation for Credit in conjunction with various external and internal audit entitiesSupport audit liaison leader in maintaining communication channels with various Business Units in support of audits and regulatory requestsDrive enhanced controls and identify opportunities for improvement to ensure business process accuracyPerform basic credit analysis – may include writing loan reviews, analyzing operating statements, recommending risk ratingsAnalyzing Commercial Lending collateral across an array of collateral types (land, multifamily, condos, office, hotels, SFR, etc.)Analyzes financial data to determine customers' financial status and the expected profitability of commercial loans; recommends approval or denial of loan applicationsMaking process improvement and action recommendations researched and supported by data and key metricsCollaborate with various departments to ensure timely implementation of audit recommendationsStay updated on regulatory changes and industry developments affecting consumer bankingAssist in the development and maintenance of audit programs and proceduresParticipate in special projects and investigations as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field1+ years of experience in banking, internal audit, or financial services industryStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirementsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle confidential information with integrityCritical thinking and decision-making abilitiesEffective interpersonal and collaboration skills
