Consumer Banking Risk (CB Risk) Summer Internship Program

As a Consumer Banking Risk Intern you will accelerate your development of foundational business and risk management skills, where you will learn banking risk management through a combination of classes, self-study, job shadowing, and on-the-job training. Successful candidate will gain technical and industry knowledge and exposure to Consumer (Retail) Banking as well as various functions that ensure the safety and soundness of one of the nation’s largest banks. Through exposure to a key Citizens Bank business division, you will gain a strong understanding of the Citizens Bank risk management framework and principles and be well-positioned to become a future risk leader.
Experience during the program
In this internship program, you will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the Risk Management function at Citizens Bank as well as great insight into the inner workings of a large financial institution. You will gain relevant experience in effectively managing Compliance and Operational Risk. During your time in Consumer Banking Risk, you could be working on:
Risk identification and management of Consumer Banking products and servicesExecution of the Consumer Banking Risk Appetite and Risk Identification programsProduction of management reporting and analysisNote: this program is based in Johnston, RI with some travel to Westwood, MA.
What you’ll need to apply
