In this role, you will join a dynamic international team of 10 professionals located around the globe. Your primary focus will be on the Consumer Desktop business. As a Demand planner, you will be responsible for the entire WW demand planning process, which includes gathering all relevant inputs and developing a comprehensive forecast plan for both platforms and commodities. Utilizing your analytical and communication skills, you will enhance the accuracy of your forecasts while optimizing the balance between excess inventory and shortage risk.
Responsibilities:
Manage various planning processes, including forecasting at platform and component levels, product transitions, EOL (End of Life) and NPI (New Product Introduction) activities, and supply optimization (demand steering, last time buy, MOQ).
Own the planning activities, considering product and component life cycles, market inputs, business targets and supply constraints.
Gather demand data from markets and consolidate complex information to use as input for forecasts.
Analyze forecast accuracy metrics and leverage insights to enhance future results.
Drive and/or participate in process improvements within a complex global organization.
Utilize new technologies (AI, machine learning, statistical forecasting) to enhance forecasting activities.
Job Requirements:
3-4 years of experience in Planning or Supply Chain functions.
Bachelor's or Master's degree.
Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes.
Excellent proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Exceptional analytical skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Big data management skills (Power BI, QlikView, etc.) are a plus.
Business acumen.
Active usage and genuine interest in AI tools.
