The Opportunity at Hand
The role of the Consumer Insights Intern is an integral member of the Go-To-Market team adding value through assisting with consumer research, analysis, and insights using primary and syndicated resources.
Projects & Tasks
Learn about the importance of consumer research in product-based companies
+ Participate in consumer panel preparation and focus groups
+ Assist with analyzing, summarizing, and delivering insights using syndicated data to various internal stakeholders
+ Research identified incremental growth opportunities for the New Era brand using various data resources
+ Maintain and update consumer panel data base
+ Keep all sensitive matters confidential
+ Other projects as assigned
What you will need to make an impact
Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems as needed
+ Meticulous attention to detail and willingness to validate, double-check, and source data accurately
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
+ Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
+ Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, email and in person
+ Strong public speaking, group presentation, interpersonal and persuasion skills required
+ Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive person who manages change with urgency and persistence
Education and Experience
This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a willingness/passion to deeply analyze data.
+ Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program within Market analytics, Market research or a related field

This role is 100% in-person and requires on-site attendance five days a week at our Headquarters building located in downtown Buffalo. The hourly rate for this posted position is $17/hr. and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
