Consumer Lender - Support
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Consumer Lender - Support in MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. The role primarily involves tasks related to consumer lending in the banking industry. As a Consumer Lender - Support, you will be required to manage various tasks associated with customer loan accounts and ensuring compliance with state and national laws. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain detailed customer credit records. • Manage tasks related to the Paid Off report, including preparation of paid statements and corresponding documents for customers. • Handle the release of liens as required and manage entries in the Transaction Management System. • Ensure compliance with State of Ohio and other US states' vehicle laws, lien placement, and title assignments to secure the Bank's interest. • Handle out of state title transfer requests and process electronic titles using the online electronic system. • Review loan documentation and liaise with lenders as needed to collect required information for timely lien placement. • File and terminate UCC statements using the Secretary of State site, when applicable. • Ensure compliance on secured installment collateral to verify accurate lien information. • Identify, track, and clear exceptions, notifying divisions as applicable. • Quote installment loan payoffs and process payoff transactions. • Analyze and complete weekly collateral reports and special requests for lien terminations and continuations. • Perform complex research requests for lien terminations. Skills: • Collateral Management • Banking Operation • MS Excel Requirements • Proficiency in Collateral Management is essential for the role. • Familiarity with Banking Operation procedures is critical. • Advanced skills in MS Excel are required. • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred. • Previous experience in a similar role within the banking or financial sector is desirable. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are needed. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for liaising with clients and colleagues. • Ability to work independently and in a team setting. • The candidate should demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions. • Familiarity with local and international banking regulations is desirable. • Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism. • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure. • Knowledge of consumer lending practices and procedures is beneficial. • Must demonstrate strong organizational skills.
