Job Description

The Consumer Services Agent role is a crucial position within the Experian Credit Bureau, responsible for being the first point of contact for consumer enquiries and supporting consumers across Australia and New Zealand via phone and email. As a Consumer Services Agent, you will provide industry knowledge, including legislative and regulatory insights, while delivering exceptional service as the face of Experian's brand.

If you have a background in the Customer Service Industry either face-to-face or over the phone, are interested in expanding your Customer Experience skill set, build on your Relationships skills, and are looking to get your foot in the door of a global company, then this is the perfect role for you!

 

What you'll need to bring to the role

Strong understanding of privacy legislation and industry regulations, with the ability to educate consumers on these topics. (Desired but not essential)Experience in performing various administrative tasks, including processing consumer report requests, amendments, and liaising with third-party agencies.

You will manage Consumer Enquiries: Handle day-to-day case and call management for consumer enquiries, providing accurate information and solutions while working towards first-time resolution and completing regulatory obligations effectively.You will Educate Consumers: Educate consumers on relevant legislation, Bureau updates, and regulations, ensuring they understand their credit reports and related processes.You will Support Stakeholders: Provide support and assistance to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.Administrative Tasks: You will perform various administrative tasks, including processing consumer report requests, amendments, liaising with third-party agencies, and maintaining accurate records.
