Contact Center Representative

**Job Description:**
The Contact Center Representative is the first connection between Intermountain and patients responsible for fostering relationships with patients, parents and guardians regarding the patient's care to include answering phones promptly, and successfully interfacing with a caller to communicate patient's needs through messaging with clinical caregivers.
**Schedule - Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm**
+ Answer, direct, and prioritize telephone calls and messages to correct clinic or department
+ Triage calls according to priority and urgency, transferring calls as necessary
+ Document all conversations, demographics to Electronic Medical Record timely and accurately
+ Obtain complete and accurate clinical, demographic and financial information during the scheduling process
+ Follow guidelines for special requests/Stat/schedule modification procedures and coordinate communications with clinical areas to accommodate the customers requests.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or equivalent, required
+ At least one (1) year experience in a call center or high volume call position
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ At least one (1) year experience in a medical field, preferred
+ Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, preferred
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.
+ Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
+ See and read computer monitors and documents.
+ Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
+ May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$18.81 - $24.26
