As the Contact Lens Specialist you will be responsible for designing, prescribing, and fitting contact lenses, as well as overseeing the operation and budget management of the Contact Lens Department. This role involves managing all aspects of lens prescribing, fitting, and patient care. Additionally, the Contact Lens Specialist should stay updated on new products and industry trends by attending conferences and keeping up with the latest publications and journals.

Required Qualifications:
National Contact Lens Certification, or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire 3+ years of experience working in optometry, ophthalmology, or the contact lenses field Exhibit proficiency in refractions and optical formulas Proficiency in the use of Bio microscopy, Fluorescein analysis, and interpretation Proficiency in Topography, pachymetry, and visual fields testing Proficiency in the use of a lensometer, radioscope, and auto-neutralizer Expertise in lens polishing and modifications for both anterior and posterior surfaces Proven solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer usagePreferred Qualification:
Proven ability to provide independent patient care and case management.
