You will be responsible for providing day-to-day direction to the operators to ensure a safe, productive, and reliable operation. We continue to expand our leading role in catalyst technology through continuous process and product innovation. **Come create chemistry with us!** **During your shift as a Contact Supervisor, you will** + Engage and coach chemical operators to achieve production department excellence regarding safety, environmental compliance, quality, and productivity. + Establish, reinforce, and supporte a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and procedures/policies. + Aid the production team by troubleshooting and resolving operational issues. + Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering groups to identify operational issues and drive continuous improvements. + Effectively communicate safety topics, production status, maintenance needs, and engineering requirements. + Work a straight shift (day or nights) 12 hour 2-2-3 schedule. **If you...** + Have a High School Diploma or GED. + Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing plant and a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience. + Own management and leadership capabilities and strong commitment to workplace safety. + Have a results-oriented mindset and manufacturing knowledge. + Can engage across the organization. + Have strong written and communication skills. **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
