Content Developer / Graphic Designer - Entry Level

Qualifications:

1 - 3 years of field-related experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Experience with graphic design, audio, and video editing (Adobe Suite, Synesthesia or other AI platforms, or similar programs preferred). Proficient with e-learning creation and curation, software, and authoring applications (Adobe Captivate and/or Articulate Storyline and Rise 360 preferred). Navigate within Learning Management Systems to upload content.

Main Area of focus:

The Learning and Development Content Developer assists with the day-to-day content design and development necessary for learning projects across the organization.

Position Summary:

The Learning and Development Content Developer is part of the Learning and Development team that creates and manages training content that is learner-friendly, relevant to the objectives of the business, and effective in developing employees to become their very best. This position collaborates with project leads who collaborate with leaders across all businesses within Common Sail.

Main Accountabilities:

Collaborate with project leads and subject matter experts to develop technical and leadership training in a variety of modes including, but not limited to, live and virtual instructor-led training, eLearning courses, job aides and guides, and web solutions. Complete training projects on time that adhere to business deadlines. Independently create training content that is relevant to the needs of the learner/employee and business goals and objectives with minimal guidance's. Demonstrates an understanding of adult learning best practices in multiple learning settings. Apply instructional design principles, tools, and techniques to learning opportunities to ensure training content is easy to understand, engaging, and satisfies various learning styles of the target audiences. Navigate within a Learning Management System to manage and upload content. Keep current with learning trends, tools, and technology to offer innovative opportunities and continuous improvement for our team and business. Perform other duties as assigned.

Applies our Common Beliefs when developing and designing content for Learning and Development projects. Develops content design and learning modules of time in a variety of setting such as an LMS, Live-virtual settings, or in-person learning. Develops content that supports different learning styles using evidence-based strategies with minimal guidance. Writes and develops creatively in a variety of different styles/tones to ensure the best content for the learner/employee. Communicates professionally with colleagues. Problem-solves and provides solutions to the team. Takes initiative and completes multiple projects on time and independently. Proactively sets and pursues professional growth goals to enhance skills, performance, and overall contribution to the organization.
