Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of **Content Lead Specialist** in the Global Marketing, Service & Technology organization located in **Houston, TX** through **January 13, 2025** . This position reports to the Sr Manager, Marketing Execution for the Americas.
The Content Lead Specialist is responsible for leading the development and execution of content across multiple B2C and B2B marketing initiatives, including copywriting and design iteration. The role works closely with both internal stakeholders (including creative, project management, and media peers) as well as external partners (offshore delivery teams). The Content Lead Specialist is tasked with delivering high-quality written and visual content across channels and business sectors.
**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**
+ Oversees the creation and delivery of content for each business sector, campaign, and respective target audience. Ensure content aligns with sector specific needs and overall campaign goals.
+ Supervise and support content specialists dedicated to each sector, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery
+ Partner with marketing peers. Collaborate with creative and media managers to ensure content is integrated across campaigns and media channels. Work closely with Creative Manager to ensure all content aligns with creative direction and brand guidelines. Work effectively with Project Management Team to insure on time, on budget content development and delivery.
+ Monitor content performance in conjunction with media analyst and gather feedback from key stakeholders. Adapt and optimize content delivery relative to results based on KPI metrics, feedback and evolving goals/needs.
+ Manage relationships with offshore content providers to provide written content (articles, blogs, case studies, display ad campaigns, etc.) as well as channel specific design iteration (graphics, video, social media etc.) Ensure quality standards are maintained and delivery aligns with sector standards/audience expectations. Oversee the coordination of offshore resources/team.
+ Maintain content calendar, documentation of workflow, accounting for spikes in production needs by channel.
+ Leads a team of 4 internal resources by business sector and target audience (B2B, B2C).
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications or a related field.
+ Proven experience in managing creative design operations for mid-sized or large organization with B2B and B2C lines of business.
+ Strong understanding of all marketing channels including but not limited to: SEO, content marketing, digital, traditional and associated analytics tools.
+ Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Working experience with/knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and associated marketing tools.
+ Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and techniques.
