Job Category 

Modernize Home Services is seeking a Content Manager to join our dynamic Organic Media team. This role is ideal for a creative, analytical, and agile individual who is ready to contribute to diverse content execution and growth within our organization. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, content production, copywriting, and digital marketing, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling content across various platforms. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the team lead and various business stakeholders, developing skills in content strategy and execution, user experience, campaign planning, and SEO.

 

Responsibilities

SEO and Optimization:  Support content publication and optimization across organic domains with a sharp focus on search engine performance and propelling channel growth.  Implement AI-driven solutions to streamline SEO processes, scale content opportunities, and enhance efficiency.  Conduct SERP and competitor analyses to refine the organic marketing channel’s SEO strategy and increase search visibility.  Content Creation and Strategy:  Develop and write engaging content for landing pages, web experiences, social media, and other types of copy for various Home Services vertical needs.  Participate in co-branded content opportunities for clients and partners to enhance the Modernize brand.  Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, with the ability to market to both B2C and B2B audiences.  Content Strategy Execution:  Execute the content strategy with opportunities to contribute to its development.  Collaborate with the content lead, design team, front-end developers, and other marketing channels to ensure cohesive execution.  Support efforts to enhance user experiences (UX) across our websites.  Analysis:  Stay abreast of best practices and industry insights.  Perform analysis for full-funnel metrics and performance using SEO Clarity, Google Analytics, HEAP, and Tableau.  Campaign Planning:  Participate in setting SMART goals and gain exposure to timeline creation and performance tracking.  Work closely with the team and manager to build skills in campaign planning. 

Responsibilities

3+ years of experience in content management, SEO, and copywriting. 2+ years of experience with user analytics. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in content strategy execution and data-driven decision-making. Proven ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with various business stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in weekly meetings and clearly communicating overall content strategy. Highly adaptable to changing business needs and priorities, with the ability to quickly pivot to support new initiatives and partnerships. Ability to implement innovative AI solutions for SEO and content scalability. 

Preferred 

Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing strategies. Familiarity with UX/UI analytics and design principles. Proficiency in tools such as WordPress, Google Analytics, Tableau and SEO Clarity. 

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 USD to $70,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
