What You'll Do

The Content Manager is responsible for developing the content management strategy of the Tech and Digital Advantage (TDA) Practice Area (PA) and capturing, building and organizing BCG’s intellectual assets on the intranet. This is a player/coach role and the person will be is manging a team while engaging with TDA Practice Area’s leadership to define their content strategy and then leverage it to identify, collect, synthesize, organize and manage organizational knowledge. The role involves conducting regular content audits to identify and develop plans to fill content gaps, and to share best practices across various topics. The role demands knowledge of the Practice Areas, their business offerings, taxonomy and key stakeholders. The role also requires good understanding of content management process - identifying content needs, engaging with case knowledge champions to source materials, organizing and publishing them on the intranet.

 

The Content Manager role reports to the Senior Manager of Knowledge Management Services and to the Global Knowledge Business Senior Director of Tech and Digital Advantage Practice Area. This is not a client facing role.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in Information Management, IT/Digital business, or related research/analysis-intense field. A Master’s degree would be preferred. 7+ years of experience demonstrating advanced knowledge and content mgmt.Very good and broad understanding of Tech, Digital, and (Gen) AI, with ideally some expertise in subtopics such as (Gen) AI and Digital Transformations, Tech Platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM), Data and Digital Platforms and Architecture, or Operating Models and Sourcing for the Tech Function Strong understanding of the consulting space and knowledge services and management processes in consulting firmsAbility to drive business processes with a diverse and global set of senior stakeholdersSound business knowledge; advanced KM capabilities with well-developed techniques and approaches Fluency in EnglishOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environmentExcellent problem-solving, follow through skills and sense of accountability and process ownership

YOU’RE GOOD AT 

Develops and executes the content strategy for the TDA Practice Area, ensuring high standards of quality, relevance, and readiness for key knowledge assetsRuns the end-to-end process of content management lifecycle from identification of key topic/ cases of commercial impact to final development and publishing of the relevant IPWorks with PA leadership to drive content planning needs and help prioritize key tasks pertaining to content availability, consumption and analyticsCollaborates on the development and adoption of innovative Gen AI tools to bring in efficiency gains within curation, content management, and other content related processesAbility to interact confidently and seamlessly with global case team members (Project Leaders & above)Plays a crucial role in project management of several PA content related initiatives and special projects and constantly strives for innovating the processes by challenging the status quo Manages team members, ensuring high-quality execution, while providing day-to-day coaching, professional development, and performance evaluation for junior staff
