Position Summary:
The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the content strategy. This role oversees the creation, curation and assessment of all marketing assets for products, promotions and other marketing initiatives. Must have a solid understanding of digital marketing tactics including search engine optimization/marketing, blogging, social media and other advertising channels. Monitor trends and product development to ensure ALLDATA customers are satisfied.
Position Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned:
· Facilitate content distribution to intended audiences across all marketing channels by conducting market research and targeting content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics
· Manage the content team of writers and designers to develop content and ensure it meets company guidelines
· Maintain the editorial calendar by setting realistic content production and publishing deadlines.
· Coordinates timelines and deliverables across organization to execute marketing plans.
· Gathers input and feedback from sales, support and account management about performance and results of marketing campaigns.
· Implement product messaging, positioning and pricing strategies and tactics.
· Work with other business units to execute marketing activities related to product launch, updates/enhancements and sunset
· Identifies and develops product campaigns, promotions and other marketing materials to drive lead generation and web sales in support of content strategy
· Write comprehensive creative briefs to kick off marketing projects
· Monitor, collect and summarize performance through analytics platforms
· Manages budgets, spending requests and invoice payments.
· Identifies and executes new marketing, messaging and pricing programs
· Work with sales and retention to generate leads and brand awareness
· Continuous learning of competitors positioning, pricing and packaging programs.
· Works with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to complete project tasks and deliverables.
· Works with distribution channels to develop and execute pricing, packaging and promotional activities.
· Completes marketing tasks as assigned
· This position has direct reports. Will manage the creative team of copywriters, graphic designers and web (front-end) developers.
Position Requirements:
· Five to seven years’ experience leading teams in marketing, communication and digital advertising
· Strategic planning, marketing and product launch in SaaS
· Cost analysis, ROI, financial modeling
· Market research and analysis
· Business planning, profit and loss accountability
· Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Salary: $83,300 - $145,800
Compensation Range (USD): MIN 83000.0 - MID 114500.0 - MAX 145000.0
