The Ford Motor Credit Company team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. By partnering with dealerships, we provide financing, personalized service and professional expertise to five thousand dealers and more than four million customers in over one hundred countries around the world.

Ford Credit is seeking creative, entrepreneurial, and action-driven candidates for a Content Marketing Specialist position. This position will play a critical role in Ford Credit’s growth strategy and competitive positioning by leveraging content to elevate brand experience and drive business results. The role will be responsible for developing and executing content marketing strategies, creating high-quality content, managing content distribution, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize cross-channel marketing efforts.

You'll have….

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.  Exceptional experience as a Content Marketing Specialist, Content Creator, or similar role.  Demonstrated skills in writing, editing, and proofreading.  Strong understanding of content marketing principles and SEO best practices. 

Even better, you may have….

Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.  Excellent project management and organizational skills.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.  Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics) to measure content effectiveness.

What you'll do….

 

Content Strategy: 

Conduct research to understand the target audience, market trends, and competitive landscape.  Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets, inclusive of financial literacy and credit education content.  Develop financial literacy content strategy across marketing channels.  

Content Creation: 

Develop, write, and edit content for various platforms including websites, social media, email campaigns, and more. Collaborate with design, UX, product, marketing, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.  Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search engines and user experience. 

Content Distribution: 

Manage the distribution of content across all relevant channels to maximize reach and engagement, including SEO optimization.  Utilize social media platforms, email marketing, and other digital channels to promote content. 

Performance Analysis: 

Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of content marketing efforts.  Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and improve future content marketing campaigns.  Prepare regular reports on content performance and present findings to the marketing team and stakeholders. 

Collaboration and Project Management: 

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure content projects are completed on time and within budget. Manage multiple content projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.  Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.
