Overview

As a Content Marketing Strategist, you will support AVP’s digital marketing efforts by designing and executing creative

content across a variety of platforms, including landing pages, digital ads, social media, and more. You will collaborate

with internal teams and external vendors to implement engaging campaigns that align with AVP’s goals and brand

standards. The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented marketer with a strong understanding of digital tools,

content creation, and design principles.

The Content Marketing Strategist plays a critical role in the development, measurement, and optimization of content

marketing as a core channel for American Vision Partners. This person will work directly with the Director of Marketing

and the Marketing Manager, other content creators and creative/design professionals to create content, optimize our

content initiatives and meticulously measure their success. The Content Marketing Strategist will work collaboratively

with other stakeholders to ensure coordination of strategies and a cohesive patient experience across digital and

traditional media channels.

Responsibilities Create and deliver engaging content with the goal of increasing local website traffic, lead conversion, domain authority and continually optimizing content keeping SEO relevance in mindLead inbound marketing content creation aligned with quarterly campaigns and website/landing pageoptimizations:  Blog, email/text, social, landing pages, web pagesUpdate and maintain company websites via WordPress, ensuring a consistent and engaging user experienceWork with the clinical and marketing teams to create digital/print marketing materials and videos, ensuring all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with clinical messagingUtilizes digital performance reports to provide recommendations to optimize future campaignsCreate quarterly content calendar to support lead generation campaignsCross pollinationMulti-channel/multi-demographic/multi-serviceDevelop and execute on multi-channel marketing lead generation/patient outreach campaigns that directly generates leads and nurtures prospects through the patient journeyCollaborate with creative team to develop lead-gen content and transform complex topics into storytelling narrativesAssist in the creation of email marketing content, ensuring brand consistency and measurable resultsManage the content and posting portion of the marketing/social calendar and content production process.Execute a “keep the lights on” organic social media strategyMonitor and respond to online reviews and feedback on platforms such as Google and Yelp, prioritizing brand reputation and patient satisfactionPartner and work closely with the marketing manager to gather and review content marketing performance analysis based on a regular cadence and projects in the marketing queueContent audits and ideation: Evaluate existing content, identify gaps, and propose fresh ideas that identify and address customer problemsSupport the onboarding of new practices and providers, ensuring seamless integration into digital marketing effortsAssist in asset management and content inventory Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field is preferredREQUIRED:  3+ years marketing campaign experience, preferably within lead generationREQUIRED:  Experience in the Healthcare industry (preferably within the eyecare space)REQUIRED:  3+ years of content marketing experienceREQUIRED: Strong understanding of UX/UI principles for landing page and website designREQUIRED:  Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), or similar platformsREQUIRED:  Experience with social media management platformsREQUIRED:  Experience with content management platforms such as WordPress1+ year of SEO driven content marketing is preferredExceptional writing and editing skillsAptitude for building and maintaining strong processesFamiliarity with SEO, email marketing and digital strategyDemonstrated experience creating engaging digital content (social media posts, digital ads, videos, etc.)Analytical mindset with the ability to track and measure the performance of digital campaignsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentRelentless commitment to success and quantifiable resultsSelf-motivation to build and optimize process and measurementA highly creative team player who enjoys collaborationDetail-oriented, well organized, efficient with time management Benefits & Perks
