**About the Role & Team**
Disney’s Direct to Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.
The Disney+ Global Content Programming and Subscriber Engagement team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.
**What You Will Do**
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Content Planning, the Content Planning Associate will assist in tracking Disney+ slate updates and collaborating with various teams throughout the planning lifecycle, such as Finance, Operations, Studios, Networks, and International Programming teams, to ensure alignment and adherence to business processes.
+ Support day-to-day for tracking slate updates within the end-to-end content planning lifecycle, coordinating with key stakeholders (including executives) throughout the process.
+ Support day-to-day content planning intake process, which includes adding titles to scope, capturing all associated creative and business details, routing for approvals, and communicating updates with cross-functional teams.
+ Support Sr. Manager, Content Planning with ad hoc strategic projects tied to function.
+ Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the team for slate-tracking processes related to the systems and tools we use, supporting efforts to improve these processes/systems.
**Required Qualifications & Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience in a similar field such as content planning, slate planning, content strategy, or scheduling.
+ Experience with content planning tools; Airtable preferred.
+ Proven ability to excel in ambiguous roles and dynamic processes, adapting through self-reliance and resourcefulness.
+ Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy.
+ Ability to manage and process detailed information while keeping perspective on the bigger picture.
+ Collaborate with others to problem solve and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
+ Ability to produce polished, accurate, and clear documents for internal stakeholders.
+ Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative spirit
+ Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication abilities.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Proficiency in Airtable, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Salesforce.
+ SVOD or Linear TV experience a plus.
+ Passion and insight into The Walt Disney Company segments, brands and franchises, the elements that define them, and expertise to build further audience engagement.
**Required Education**
+ Bachelor’s degree
The hiring range for this position in CA is $71,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
