Content Publishing Intern - IT Services

P&C IT Services provides professional services to help our business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes.  IT Services can include a wide range of activities such as: software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, establishing and overseeing access rights, procuring and maintaining equipment or software, managing the infrastructure, and defining security procedures,  The overall goal of IT Services is to provide technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give our company a competitive advantage over our competitors.

The Content Publishing team within P&C IT Services is seeking an intern for the summer 2025.

Job Description:

• Using Exstream/Inspire Designer, compose variable forms, and other documents based on requirements from business/PDC.
• Compose policy forms in word and create a pdf copy of the form.
• Run compare of newly built forms with the source document to compare the content.
• Unit test the forms by creating a test XML, SoapUI, Postman, and any other methods we use for certain scenarios.
• Run basic queries to extract form data from SQL or Oracle database. 
• Participate in daily meetings to provide an update on the work.
• Collaborate with CP team members and other groups in IT to accomplish project tasks.
• Understand IT processes to develop the forms.
• Participate in Great American University offerings.
• Various self-study courses and documentation about different kinds of forms and general Insurance knowledge.

Qualifications:
• 3.5 preferred GPA, with a 3.0 minimum GPA for consideration
• May 2026/2027 graduate preferred
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Superior communication, analytical, planning, and organizing skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated, as the nature of the internship may have virtual aspects
• Current student in a bachelor’s degree program in a wide range of majors (preferably non-computers as this position doesn't involve programming)
