Job Summary
The Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the site’s CI initiative.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Establish and build the plant’s Continuous Improvement TeamCoordinate the activities of the site Lean initiative while working with the Continuous Improvement Team on some or all of the stated dutiesEvaluate operations to identify areas of waste and opportunities for improvementFacilitate VSM and Kaizen activitiesDevelop, prioritize, and implement solutions to reduce waste and improve performanceDocument and standardize improvementsTeach, coach, and mentor all levels of employees in Continuous Improvement and manufacturing principlesTrain employees to identify and eliminate wasteDevelop programs to foster employee involvement to promote a Continuous Improvement cultureAttend seminars, lectures, and training classes on Continuous Improvement and share gained knowledge with plant staffPrepares regular and special reports as requiredPerforms other duties as required
