At Cadbury, we continue to make products that our consumers love at the iconic manufacturing site in Bournville.  In our people orientated work environment, consumer safety and the health and wellbeing of our employees comes first.

The chocolate making department is at the heart of the factory, producing liquid chocolate to send to the rest of the factory for moulding into the classic Cadbury products.

You will play an important role in the chocolate making department, providing process support to shift teams and performing daily activities that drive our continuous improvement (CI) processes. You will help with data collection and analysis while engaging with manufacturing excellence frameworks to help achieve departmental KPIs.

             

How you will contribute

You will:

Provide training on CI tools and techniques in order to maximise engagement of shift teams and support functionsUtilise detailed data gathering systems to understand areas of loss and implement focussed improvement projects to drive outputFacilitate root-cause analysis to address losses and improve departmental performanceDevelop a detailed understanding of chocolate manufacturing methods and support operational teams  Support safety and quality standards across the area to ensure compliance to the standardsLead focussed sessions to encourage area ownership while establishing new work standards to sustain improvement

What you will bring

CI and high-performance work systems experienceStrong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activitiesApplication of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environmentUnderstanding of industrial processes and applications in manufacturingAbility to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systemsMastery of Excel and other data analytics toolsOrganized and disciplined to support and educate key stakeholders on the processLogical and structured thinking to extract insights from data
