Your Role:

This role contributes as a member of a cross-functional team that focuses on identifying areas of opportunities and implementing improvement initiatives.

 

Responsibilites include but are not limited to: 

Conduct floor observations/time studies and identify waste reduction opportunities within processes.Analyze data to identify key trends and insights.  Lead complex projects using the DMAIC/A3 problem solving approach.Lead problem solving activities (RCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.) to identify root causes.Facilitate Kaizen Events with cross functional teams to formulate solutions.Act as a change agent to implement improvements and coach teams to sustain best practices.Present project findings and updates site leadership and stakeholders periodically.Support delivering Lean training and coaching, as needed.Ensure compliance with all factory guidelines and good documentation practices are followed to provide a safe, quality, and effective product for all proposed and implemented changes. Lead and facilitate change within multiple Value Streams at the Danvers manufacturing facility. Instill Lean methodologies and build a continuous improvement culture through the deployment of the Life Science Production System.

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Industrial, Chemical, or other Engineering discipline and 3+ years of manufacturing experience.

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 8+ years working within a manufacturing and continuous improvement role.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Green or Black Belt Certification.Experience facilitating Kaizen Events.Strong understanding and application of key Lean Fundamentals tools such as 6S, VSM, Standard Work, Process Confirmation, and Leader Standard Work.Good written and verbal communication skills.Experience in leading change management strategies.
