Continuous Improvement Engineer

They are Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Winning, Ownership & Leadership. **GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:** This position plays a key role in aligning this facility with PEAK (Continuous Improvement) initiatives. This position will support and lead PEAK and Productivity teams, projects, and initiatives to implement and increase a culture of continuous improvement. The PEAK Engineer will act as a change agent for driving continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Work as a part of the PEAK team to drive Continuous Improvement initiatives in all PACS and all phases + Lead and implement continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies. + Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements. + Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of continuous improvement initiatives and drive a data driven approach to decision-making + Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to ensure process stability and capability. + Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues. + Train and coach team members on continuous improvement techniques and best practices. + Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute a roadmap for continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company's strategic objectives. + Participate in facilitation and execution Value Stream Maps & Kaizen Events through all stages + Develop and maintain documentation for process improvements and standard operating procedures (SOPs). + Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. + Other duties as assigned **JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:** + Good understanding of troubleshooting training/critical thinking + Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal. + Teamwork and project management skills. + Strategic thinking, innovation and problem solving. + Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** + Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach, and grasp for varying periods of time during working hours. + Knowledge of MS Office software, advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint + Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports. **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a continuous improvement, lean, operational excellence, or manufacturing roles. + Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is preferred.
