ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days/week in Spokane Valley, WA for Summer 2025.

The Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern at Cornerstone Building Brands is responsible for working alongside Cornerstone employees on projects that will have a direct impact on the business. Reporting directly to the Spokane Plant Manager, this role will interface with the Production and Quality departments.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Will Create process flows, creating process mapping, time studies, and layoutMay be involved in test equipment design/improvement, troubleshooting, calibration, non-conforming material (incoming and finished goods) inspection, auditing, and test processes Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering is requiredMust have completed Sophomore year courseworkData interpretation/manipulation via MS Excel, specifically creating Pivot Tables and Pareto Charts experience preferredExperience with AutoCad, Inventor, or Solid works preferredExperience in a manufacturing environment is preferredInterns will work in office and shop floor environments with extended periods of sitting and standing. Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Additional information
