We are seeking a passionate and experienced Continuous improvement expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, project management, and a proven track record of implementing successful improvement initiatives. This role is critical in helping us streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and drive organizational success.
In this role, you will be part of the Global Operational Excellence team, where you will be driving process improvement projects (black belt) globally and will be working together with the regional People Operations teams to ensure optimized and effective HR processes.
Role & responsibilitiesPeople Operations is the global people contact center for employees and managers worldwide and is responsible for managing all People processes. As a Global Continuous Improvement Expert, you are the driving power behind continuous improvements for all People Operations scoped processes.
As a continuous improvement expert, you will:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from conception through implementation.
Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to analyze processes and implement improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and drive change.
Support People Operations with Lean Strategy Deployment and own Continuous Improvement process.
Mentor employees who are doing a green belt projects.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress and results to senior management.
Education and experienceBachelor or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration or similar / focused on Continuous Improvement.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, or a related role.
Lean Black Belt certification.
Proven track record in Complex Matrix environment.
Relevant experience in global (HR) process (re-)design, whilst improving the process based on Lean principles.
Proven track record of independent project management
SkillsConsulting agility & style flexibility to understand business needs and translate them into process / technical requirements.
Resilient and being able to keep focus in a changing environment
Project management skills; ability to initiate and run cross-team projects independently.
Proficient in creating insights on data trends and translating these into improvement projects.

This job will reside in the Global Operational Excellence team, in which you will report to the Global Manager Operational Excellence. Your main stakeholders will be the global and regional Operational Excellence experts, the Global People Operations Management team, your People Operations colleagues, Expertise teams as well as the Line organization and cross sector colleagues in similar roles. You will participate in regional and global meetings, projects and continuous improvements. The office location is Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
