Position: Continuous Improvement Internship
Location: Onsite at our Londonderry, NH location
Duration: 3-months (full time May 2025 – August 2025)
From your PASSION to ours
Reporting to the Performance Manager, this internship offers meaningful, hands-on work that directly contributes to improving operational efficiency and solving real-world manufacturing challenges. Interns will work with a team of engineers on projects related to raw material usage, operational efficiency, energy optimization, and quality improvements. This varied role combines time on the production floor with computer-based problem-solving, requiring adaptability and curiosity.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
The projects for this internship are highly individualized to align with each candidate's unique skills and strengths. While the specific projects will depend on the plant's needs at the time of the internship, they may include:- Analyzing and improving filling line efficiencies to enhance production performance.
- Identifying and reducing material and packaging losses through data-driven insights.
- Developing and implementing standardization processes to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Investigating data chains to uncover opportunities for optimization and streamlined operations.
- Conducting detailed analyses, such as assessing fill weight performance for cup fillers, identifying patterns, and proposing
actionable adjustments to equipment or processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality, to execute improvement projects tailored to the plant's evolving needs.Document findings and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.Learning Opportunities

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Currently enrolled as a college junior, senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization platforms.CAD experience and 3D modeling and printing experience a plus. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and problem-solving.Possesses curiosity and drive – a desire to ask “why,” dig deeper and uncover root causes to solve complex problems. Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Enjoys being on the production floor, interacting with equipment, and tackling real-world challenges - not just sitting at a desk.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Interest in manufacturing operations, automation, and process improvement.Ready to bring your passion, expertise, and story to our team?
