We’re searching for a top-tier professional to join our team as the head of Continuous Improvement who will play a pivotal role in designing and implement strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the Rolling Stock Customer Service business. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and executing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction

Champion operational excellence by implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performancePioneer and implement a cutting-edge continuous improvement strategy aligned with Rolling Stock Customer Service goals.Lead and grow a team of continuous improvement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and breakthrough innovation.Drive and own transformative continuous improvement initiatives to successful completion.Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.Harness lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to revolutionise processes.Collaborate creatively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.Monitor and communicate progress to senior management with insightful, impactful updates.Design and deliver forward-thinking training programs to elevate continuous improvement skills.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Nurture a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
You'll win us over by
Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.Significant experience in continuous improvement within manufacturing or engineering.Proven success in leading change within a complex matrix organisation.Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to influence at all levels and work cross-functionally.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Certification in Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt) is highly desirable.Experience in a Rolling Stock Environment is advantageous
