Continuous Improvement Manager

ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, and coordinate department activities to fulfill sales orders and meet delivery dates.Manage multiple tasks and priorities while adapting to various changes.Read blueprints or shop drawings/specifications.Manage material to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand.Manage department staffing and delegate tasks for the day.Conduct weekly safety meetings within the department.Plan daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly productions to meet completion dates.Oversee the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments, while working with production/shipping and receiving.Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts, maintaining accuracy and accountability.Schedule and arrange in-plant transfers of product to meet production goals/schedules.Coordinate 5S among the team on a daily basis.Meet shipment deadlines.
