Continuous Improvement Manager

We are hiring a Continuous Improvement Manager at our manufacturing facilities in North East PA. This position is responsible for contributing to best performance within the GSC by working within the plants, support services and/or business unit to optimize safety, quality, cost, and productivity. Responsibilities: + Identify and prioritize top improvement opportunities, providing data and summaries to ensure leadership consensus and buy-in. + Represent CI and lean thinking on the site and functional leadership teams, leading major improvement projects with new processes and technologies. + Collaborate with business units and R&D to define operational targets, performance criteria, and ensure BOMs and routings are accurate. + Apply statistical analysis to products and processes, ensuring customer requirements are met while optimizing operations. + Mentor, coach, and train employees on using data and statistical methods to drive improvements. + Lead cross-functional teams on major improvement initiatives, focusing on eliminating waste using Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving tools. + Own and improve overall site-level CI programs, utilizing change management strategies and demonstrating strong project management skills. Qualifications: + Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred. + Candidates with a qualifying bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of 5 years of process engineering or manufacturing related experience; people management experience preferred. + Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Project. + Understanding of general industrial process and control systems. + Working knowledge of basic statistical tools. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and successfully leverage internal and external resources. + Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, able to prioritize and meet budgets, deadlines and achieve objectives. + Ability to lead cross-functional improvement teams. + Effective communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information. + Professional certifications and/or licenses with Six Sigma and/or Lean. Compensation and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $90,750 to $151,250 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
