What you will be doing
The Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation team has an opening for a Manager of Continuous Improvement – Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation.
The Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation team is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing large scale business strategies across a multi-year transformation roadmap. We work with partners across the organization and benchmark best-in-class leaders to continue to drive game-changing opportunities across Albertsons supply chain. The position will be based in Boise, Idaho, or one of our main regional offices in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Pleasanton CA, Denver CO, Dallas TX, Chicago, IL, or Fullerton, CA, Phoenix, AZ.
Main responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Governance and Compliance:
Establish and maintain governance frameworks for continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.Lean Event Facilitation:
Plan, organize, and facilitate lean events such as Kaizen workshops, value stream mapping sessions, and root cause analysis. Engage cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement action plans. Utilize lean methodologies and tools to drive process improvements and reduce waste.Change Management:
Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders and provide necessary training and resources. Monitor and evaluate the impact of changes, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze performance metrics and data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare and present reports on continuous improvement initiatives to operations leadership teams. Utilize data-driven decision-making to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectively.Culture of Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting employee engagement and participation. Provide coaching and mentorship to teams and individuals on continuous improvement practices. Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and innovation.
The salary range is $82,900 to $107,680.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). [If applicable:] Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.
What we are searching for
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience in continuous improvement, lean methodologies, and change management within a supply chain environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly desirable. Ability to travel up to 40%
