What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department, ensuring alignment with short-term goals.Actively share knowledge and identify potential improvements in processes or products, taking risks to develop innovative ideas.Solve moderately complex problems within your expertise and assist with issues outside the department, providing technical guidance and oversight.Oversee operational activities, manage multiple projects of moderate complexity, and support program governance, project reviews, and communications.Recognize the need for development in others, collaborate to create development plans, and manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, and ongoing assessment.Solicit input, explain complex concepts, persuade others to adopt a point of view, and effectively share your own perspective and rationale.Define, design, and implement vertically and horizontally integrated programs, establishing performance metrics to measure success.Develop and implement a Knowledge Management framework, ensuring ease of access to relevant information and compliance with regulatory expectations.Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset based on lean principles, leading Lean and Six Sigma projects, and coaching colleagues in their application.Build and maintain a diverse and inclusive team culture, supporting the company's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion objectives, and promote a common understanding of Operational Excellence strategy and culture.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or associate's degree with at least 8 years of experience ,or BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 2 years of experience or PhD/JD with any years of experience.Demonstrated People Management ExperienceProven leadership and change management abilitiesEffective coaching and mentoring skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsExperience in managing projects and ongoing work activities of moderate complexityKnowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industryProven track record in leading substantial projectsEffective team-building and negotiation skillsProject management and continuous improvement certifications such as Agile, PMP, Black Belt Six Sigma, or similar credentialsExperience in managing Direct reportsAbility to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving goals

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102,900.00 to $171,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
