Continuous Improvement Manager
The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for facilitating and managing projects aimed at improving business processes that are in alignment with the Company’s business strategy and business model and produce positive financial results. Utilizing 6 Sigma and Lean methodologies, the role is responsible for process improvements for Parts, Service, Body Shop, and RushCare. Responsibilities: + Identify and work with appropriate Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to establish the future state processes. Ensure appropriate process designs, including the correct business requirements. Design, recommend, implement, maintain, and improve business processes. + Lead all change management, training, and implementations associated with process redesign and changes including the creation of training courses and documentation for process changes and project implementations. Report on change progress and escalate issues. + Utilizing good project management skills, manage team activities, track project status and results, and identify and remove project barriers. + Facilitate, communicate, and follow-up with the project sponsor on the status of their projects on a consistent basis to meet the needs of the internal customer and of the company. Ensure that project requirements and objectives are met through user acceptance testing. + Recommend, maintain, and control process improvement prioritization through coordination with the Company executive(s) and Business Process Owners. + Synchronize process improvement plans with other process owners whenever overlaps or impacts exist. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred. + Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing Continuous Improvement methodologies with Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt certification preferred. + General knowledge of business operations, supporting technology and financial results. + Additional experience and/or training may be considered in lieu of the formal educational requirements. + Other Skills and Abilities Required + Must have demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality with extremely sensitive situations and information. + Must be a results-oriented change agent who is an effective business systems thinker and communicator. + Must be able to effectively present to and collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups. + Must have strrong interpersonal sand communication skills. + Ability to break down the steps of a process, investigate shortfalls, issues, and complaints, and specify the requirements for improvements. + Work well under the pressure of deadlines and be adaptable and innovative in dealing with opportunities and obstacles. Must be able to manage risk and ambiguity on a project.
