Continuous Improvement Manager

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in Stoke, supporting our customer Dunelm. As a CI Manager you will drive continuous improvement across the operations by leading initiative, projects and building an ethos of CI through education and coaching while maintaining the current CI culture and strive to achieve Gain Share financial targets.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £52,000.00, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

Develop the current CI set-up, understating the operation and transition while implementing processes and systems to deliver on objectives Working with the finance manager; record and track assumptions, trial period results and actual savings or cost avoidance to capture the true benefit Ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility in respect of workplace ethics, legal, environmental, security and Health and Safety Development of team through training in technical Business Improvement methodologies like Lean Processing and Six Sigma

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

Proven experience of leading successful CI or Business Transformation programmes Ability to provide financial forecasts highlighting any areas/periods of concern with contingency planning Strong systems knowledge including WMS and Microsoft Office applications is advantageous
