Our Fortune 200 dairy client is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager for their 24/7 365 dairy manufacturing facility near Harrisburg, PA. This position reports to the Manufacturing Site Director.  The primary purpose of this role is to reduce processing variation, drive operational effectiveness and innovation, support research and development projects and increase cost competitiveness.  The position requires an expert level of Continuous Improvement talent.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·       Develop and continually improve the strategy for addressing specific key process improvements across the facility.

·       Assess specific causes of variation to drive consistency, reliability, capacity expansion, cost reduction, and risk mitigation opportunities.

·       Identify world-class technologies and drive best practices.

·       Solidify relationships / partnerships with key vendors.

·       Maintain long term capabilities and volume forecast.

·       Review capital processes and identify strategic opportunities.

·       Lead/coordinate TMM activities at the plant.

·       Align operations capabilities to business objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

•             Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

•             5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, technical services or related field for a manufacturing facility.

•             Strong problem solving and project management skills.

•             Experience aligning operations capabilities with business objectives.
