The Continuous Improvement Project Engineer is responsible for providing comprehensive support to project leaders and teams in the planning, execution, and completion of CI Initiatives. This role will involve coordinating activities, resources, and information to ensure that improvements are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Continuous Improvement Project Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining documentation and helping to manage communication among organization  stakeholders.

The Opportunity

CI  Planning

Assist in defining  scope, objectives, and deliverables for targeted initiatives.

Develop detailed plans, schedules, and timelines.

Coordinate required resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.

CI Execution

Monitor initiative  progress and ensure issues are communicated and addressed.

Ensure that all tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Coordinate and facilitate improvement  meetings, including preparing agendas and meeting minutes.

Documentation and Reporting

Develop reporting format to document value of each initiative and method to follow delivery of such value post implementation.

Prepare and present regular updates to stakeholders.

Communication

Serve as the main point of contact for  team members and stakeholders.

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among  team members.

Risk Management

Identify potential timeline risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Monitor and track project risks and issues, and escalate as needed.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in engineering project management, project coordination or a similar role.

Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.

Skills

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Proactive and able to anticipate project needs.

Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative and team-focused.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $77,400 - $143,700,.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
