We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving initiatives to improve efficiency within our cable manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in labor and material efficiency.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize production workflows and reduce waste.
Collaborate with production, quality, and other teams to design and execute improvement projects.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes, making adjustments as necessary.
Conduct time and motion studies to assess labor utilization and recommend improvements.
Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Train and mentor staff on best practices for efficiency and process improvement.
Prepare and present reports on project progress and outcomes to management.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Proven experience in a continuous improvement or process engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping tools.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
