Contract Accounting Manager

Allied Universal® is hiring a Contract Accounting Manager. The Contract Accounting Manager, operating out of the HQ East headquarters in Conshohocken, PA office, will oversee a department responsible for the set-up and maintenance of all Allied Universal client accounts in US and Canada. The Contract Accounting department is accountable for collecting and organizing all client approval documentation in a centralized database, maintaining acceptable service levels within the group. The Contract Accounting Manager is responsible for resolving all problems elevated by direct reports, field operations, or other corporate departments. The Contract Accounting Manager will be expected to work in-office a minimum of two (2) days each week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage a team of Contract Accounting Specialists, including hiring, career development, and performance improvementOversee scheduling, payroll accuracy, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and perform quality control checksDevelop and implement procedures, guidance materials, and compliance policies to enhance performance quality and accuracy, maintain exceptional service levels, and ensure audit readinessContinually audit and evaluate key functions of the department focusing on the creation and maintenance of accountsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including operational managers and leaders to provide customer service and resolution, as well as Billing Supervisors and IT Business Analysts on electronic billing requestsParticipate in mergers and acquisitions related work; project lead Contract Accounting aspects of special projectsCustomer service to the field, clients, and training as needed

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of three (3) years of contract accounting experience and a solid understanding of basic accounting conceptsMinimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience in a professional administrative environmentProven experience developing others and effectively collaborating with internal and external customersDemonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlinesAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsLeadership skills managing cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with different ideas and backgrounds to match the company; Drive team to think creatively and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvementAbility to prioritize workload based on urgency; able to delegate time sensitive tasks and communicate to a range of audiences including to executive managementExcellent listening skills; actively listen to team members, providing mentorship, and promoting a culture of empathy and collaborationWillingness to take direction and critical feedback, and adapt to improve skills and effectivenessHighly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technologyAbility to work well both independently and as part of a team; demonstrating strong relationship-building skillsOutstanding oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

College degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related fieldIntermediate or advanced knowledge of WinTeam
