Contract Administrator

The role is responsible for employment-related OD contracts and other duties related to the contracting process and OD onboarding. It serves as a point of contact and liaison between our Doctor of Optometry (OD) network, recruiters, and field leaders. What Would You Do? The Specifics. + Creates and issues OD employment contracts and other agreements in a timely manner as requested by OD Recruiting and Field Leadership as applicable. + Demonstrates continuous effort to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the contracting process, produce quality work, and meet the OD contracting needs of Professional Services Department, Recruiting, and Field Leadership. + Responsible for accurately entering and managing OD contract information into OD database (VCM), requesting OD professional liability insurance for newly employed ODs, launching OD onboarding, and providing necessary contracting information to the Credentialing team. + Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the OD Recruiting and the Professional Services department in order to provide quality service to ODs joining the National Vision Optometrist Network. + Assists and provides information to ODs regarding the OD hiring process, insurance needs, and credentialing as well as making sure payments to independently contracted ODs are seamless. + Works across the organization to ensure a smooth timely process for OD employment.. + Protects confidential and sensitive information with appropriate judgment and discretion. + Assists with special projects requiring analytical and critical thinking skills. + Must be able to effectively handle competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.   Work Experience + 0-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience ((Required)) Education + High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. equivalent of four years in high school. (Preferred) Additional Skills + Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) (Required) + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Required) + Approaches all encounters with customers and co-workers in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner. (Required) + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of associates, teams, supervisors, and directors.
