The position of Contract Administrator is within our Cardiometabolic business unit located in Lake Forest, IL. This role will provide administrative, analytical, and procedural support to internal and external customers on behalf of the Contract Administration Department. This role acts as a liaison between account executives, regional sales directors, directors of national accounts, and others in processing and administration of sales contracts. This position will be situated in the ARDx Lake Forest office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Ensure timely processing of sales contractsNegotiate and draft contract terms and conditions in accordance with corporate policiesAnalyze potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organizationPresent and explain contract conditions and details to customers, business partners, and managementResolve any existing contract conflictsWork with different levels of personnel within an organization to analyze and solidify an overall contract strategyIndependently support one or more sales regions in regards to full contract managementActs as a resource to the sales organization in regard to current pricing and contracting policies and programsParticipate in and prepare for contracting strategy meetingsPerform database maintenance on an ongoing basis to insure accurate reportingAssist in updating departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)Meet deadlines and update clients with statusUtilize data from the company’s CRM system to generate reports, analyze data, and track product and ordering patternsInterface with internal fulfillment group and distributors to establish working relationships, assure proper end-user pricing and contract effective dates are loadedUnderstands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job; has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activitiesResponsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationshipsCarries out duties in compliance with established business policiesOther duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the businessMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline.Minimum intermediate Word and Excel experience a must.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in commercial sales contracting.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two to four years’ experience directly related to contract administration, preferably within the bio-tech/ healthcare industry. The base pay for this position is $57,300.00 – $114,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
