Contract Administrator

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to work within our Contracts team, located in Rancho Bernardo, CA. Under consultative direction, areas of responsibility include supporting Senior Contract Administrators with the review and administration of Government contracts in General Atomics’ (GA) Space Systems business area in accordance with company policy. Reviews and enters contract information into GA’s enterprise resource planning system, SAP, and maintains contract files in accordance with company policies and procedures. Opportunities for growth and increased responsibilities managing complex contracts supporting cutting-edge technologies. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Reviews contract awards and modifications and assist with tracking of key information. + Participates in negotiating and modifying standard contracts and assists in negotiating and modifying non-standard contracts. + Maintains an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on contracts/subcontracts + Maintains, analyzes, updates, and develops various electronic and hard copy records. + Assist with the preparation of internal presentations. + Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. + Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. + Additional Functions Other duties as assigned or required. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education. + Must have a general knowledge of contract principles, theories and concepts and a general understanding of practices, techniques, and standards. + Must be customer focused and possess: + the ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity; + excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to accurately document and report findings to a variety of audiences; + excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide employees, managers, customers and other external parties; and, + excellent computer skills. + Working knowledge of SAP required. + Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required. **Salary:** $62,510 - $105,628 **Travel Percentage Required** 0 - 25 **Relocation Assistance Provided** Not Provided **US Citizenship Required?** Yes **Clearance Required?** No **Clearance Level** null **Workstyle** Hybrid General Atomics is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
