The F-35 Radar Production & Development Organizational Unit is seeking a Contract Administrator/Principal Contract Administrator (can be hired at either level) to join our team. This position is a full-time onsite position in Linthicum, MD.

What You Will Get To Do:

This position requires an understanding of DOD contracting, excellent communication skills and strong organizational and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a team player who can provide clear direction and guidance to Prime customers and internal stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts

Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues

Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications

Review and analyze customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW)/contract requirements and advise the program team on terms and conditions

Ensure company proposals are fully responsive to customer requirements, coordinate appropriate levels of internal review for approval prior to submission

Manage proposal fact-finding and conduct negotiations with customer with support from the program team

Collaborate with other functional groups (finance, supply chain, mission assurance, legal, etc.) during all phases of the contract lifecycle

Work under general supervision to develop solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements

Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters

Duties may also include the preparation and maintenance of proprietary information agreements, memorandum of understanding and other types of agreements

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications for Contract Administrator (A02):

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 2 years in contracts or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 1 of experience or 6 years of professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree

Understanding of FAR/DFARs and associated Federal Contracting regulations

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams

US citizenship is required

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications for Principal Contract Administrator (A03):

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 5 years in contracts or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 3 of experience or 9 years of professional experience accepted in lieu of a degree

Understanding of FAR/DFARs and associated Federal Contracting regulations

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams

US citizenship is required

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Contracts processes and procedures

Proposal preparation and negotiation experience

Prior experience with Fixed Price contracts

Active Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $105,800.00Salary Range 2: $87,000.00 - $136,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
