As a qualified nonprofit agency operating within the AbilityOne program, ServiceSource hires persons with significant disabilities. For the majority of direct labor positions, ServiceSource will obtain documentation of a significant disability as per the JWOD Act.
Working independently and with minimal supervision, performing all activities required to close out all physically completed contracts and coordinate all closeout actions in accordance to regulations stipulated in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and by the contracting party (Department of Defense-DOD).
Primary Duties
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.
+ Manages and maintains coded documents which arrive for processing from the (Department of Defense DOD).
+ Employs ethical and professional methods to research and analyze the documents needed to adequately facilitate the close of (Department of Defense DOD) contracts.
+ Maintains accurate and meticulous records surrounding all correspondence pertaining to the contract closeout process.
+ Applies the rules, regulations and procedures stipulated in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to physically closing out completed contracts.
+ Documents every aspect of the contract closeout procedure as stipulated in the FAR.
Additional Responsibilities
+ Assists with any and all close out actions/functions as deemed necessary by the Contracting Officer
+ Follows all procedures in the Quality Management System. Completes any task deemed necessary for the effective operation of the Off-site contracts.
+ Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
+ High School Diploma required or General Educational Developmental (GED) required.
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Must pass the Defense Acquisition University Class CON 100 within 90 days of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Ability to be organized, professional and detail oriented.
+ Ability to be effective working independently and, in a team, setting.
