Responsibilities:
The Contract Coordinator - Materials Management role is critical in driving cost savings, ensuring contract compliance, and supporting Community Health System's (CHS) strategic goals through effective contract management and optimization. This role is responsible for optimizing supply and service contracts supporting material management operations across the hospital system and analyzing, negotiating, and implementing contracts with suppliers.
As a Contract Coordinator, you will support the Materials Management program utilizing analytics and contract management of hospital and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts. You will bring your expertise into the department, being responsible for data interpretation and analysis using statistical techniques and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. We are looking for a highly analytical team member to join the positive culture of our team!
Qualifications:Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience• 3 years of progressively responsible related experience in a large hospital or multi-hospital system required Licenses and Certifications• CMRP - Certified Material and Resource Professional preferred• CPSM - Certified Professional in Supply Mgmt preferred
