Contract Coordinator
Description

The Contract Coordinator is responsible for supporting the field sales teams by assisting in the preparation of quotes and quote related documents, including price verification and correct alignment to national, corporate, and/or government negotiated agreements.

 

Position Requirements

Support field sales teams with any quote related information including collection and insertion of data for Taxes, Freight, Previous Agreement Carry-Over, Trade-In ValuesVerify and Update quote document terms and footnotes as neededConfirm GPO/IDN/Government membership alignment for correct price offeringsMonitor CPQ queue for all new documents awaiting processingMaintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy minimizing turn-around-time (TAT) for quotationsPerform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMerieux’s Quality SystemPerforms other duties as assigned

 

Education & Experience

Associate’s Degree or equivalent work related experience is required.OR, 2 years sales administration, customer service, or sales support.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

Requires familiarization with all bioMerieux products, in-depth knowledge of customer accounts and a working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce.com and related quoting, contracting, and business management toolsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to write reports and business correspondence  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of mangers, clients, customers and the publicExpert use of standard Microsoft Office software, excel, word and emailEvaluation, problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProactive attitude and extremely motivatedProfessional, hardworking, flexible, problem solverExemplary organizational and detail implementation skillsKnowledge of diagnostics industry preferred

 

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.

Domestic travel 0-5% of the time.
