Contract D&T Lead - Procurement Job ID 204343 Posted 10-Feb-2025 Service line Corporate Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Purchasing/Procurement Location(s) Polanco - Ciudad de Mexico - Mexico **job Title:** Contract D&T Lead, Sr. Manager – Procurement Location: Hybrid (Mexico City, Lomas de Chapultepec) **Key Responsibilities:** + Contracting Execution: Perform contracting activities for large, complex sourcing initiatives in alignment with global indirect category strategies, including establishing sourcing approaches, creating RFP documents, developing negotiation plans, and conducting negotiations with suppliers. + Supplier Management: Manage and optimize supplier relationships to drive incremental value and ensure compliance with terms and conditions. + Team Leadership: Provide formal supervision to employees, coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and mentor and coach staff. + Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. + Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and translate them into actionable sourcing plans aligned with category strategies. + Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. + Reporting: Prepare and present reports on contracting performance, procurement activities, and cost savings to senior management. + Technical Support: Provide technical support to platform users, resolving issues and answering queries. + System Integration: Coordinate the integration of new tools and technologies with existing procurement platforms. + Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for users on procurement platforms and best practices. Requirements: + Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field. + Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years in procurement, with a focus on indirect procurement categories and experience in a multinational company. + Technical Skills: Proficiency with procurement systems such as Zycus and Coupa, Excel, and Power BI. + Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets and manage multiple job disciplines. + Analytical and Negotiation Skills: Strong analytical and negotiation skills. + Communication Skills: Advanced English proficiency, excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Hybrid Position: Ability to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site work.
