Your role and responsibilitiesWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Contract Management Business Process Owner (BPO) to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our commercial and execution contract management processes within our Salesforce eco system. This role will be instrumental in aligning contract management activities with business objectives, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and value creation throughout the contract lifecycle.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, business process optimization, and stakeholder collaboration. The contract management BPO will act as the strategic owner of end-to-end contract processes, from contract creation and negotiation to execution and renewal, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with organizational goals.This position will report to the newly created position of “Inquiry to Order Business Process Owner” within the global Electrification Service Business Processes, Tools and Enablement team.Work model HybridLocation GlobalKey Responsibilities:•Define and develop end-to-end processes for contract creation, negotiation, approval, execution, and post-signature management within the existing Salesforce / Conga CLM eco system•Standardize contract templates, terms, and workflows to align with organizational policies and risk management frameworks.•Collaborate with legal, product management, operational excellence and local business units to ensure designed processes and templates meet business objectives and compliance standards.•Act as the single point of accountability for the contract management process across the organization.•Develop and implement process governance structures to ensure adherence to standardized workflows, policies, and controls.•Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor contract management efficiency, compliance, and value realization.•Lead periodic process reviews and audits to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.•Engage with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into contract management solutions.•Develop and deliver training programs to ensure stakeholders understand and adhere to contract management processes and tools.•Act as a change leader, driving the adoption of new processes, systems, and best practices across the organization.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. Master’s degree or certification in contract management (e.g., CCM, CPCM) is a plus.3+ years of experience in contract management, business process management, or a related role.Proven experience in designing and implementing commercial and contract execution processes in a complex, matrixed organization.Good understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and best practices.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Experience in change management and driving process adoption across diverse teams.
