Contract Manager
Our client is known for offering services with a focus on outstanding quality, value added engineering and successful project outcomes. These services include engineering only and engineering/procurement/construction (EPC) services for high voltage powerlines and substations. As the Contract Manager (Vendor Relationship Manager/Work Agreement Facilitator/Vendor Agreement Specialist) for Project Management Organization, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Reviews RFI submissions and shares with appropriate groups for collaboration (i.e. engineering, construction, inspection, etc.)
Reviews and validates contract change orders against current project scope of work and aligns expectations with MSA for related vendor
Facilitate discussions re: contract issues or disputes and engages the appropriate team members as needed
Front end contract planning: gather requirements from various team members, develops scope, finds appropriate and approved vendors, hosts bid walks, and facilitates contract execution for contracts not supported by CFS
Works hand-in-glove with project manager(s) to ensure smooth communication across all levels of the organization
Participates fully in Resource Calls and ongoing project cadence calls as needed to ensure contract needs are being met
Ensures CWA/POs get executed in a timely manner by monitoring awarded bid as it goes through processes including but not limited to; bid selection, submission to Sourcing & Contract Specialist, Ariba routing, and signatures from bidder & PG&E completed.
Generates bid comparison and reviews with team prior to selection of bidder
Ensures CWA contains project schedule and cashflow from vendor for work scopes.
Interpret, analyze, communicate about and resolves issues that arise during contract administration
Work as a liaison between project management and sourcing/contracts group to facilitate vendor risk analysis and summarize any performance-related feedback
