Your Skills and ExperienceOversight of contract management throughout all phases of a project, encompassing change order management and claim resolution.Support and fortify project execution by identifying and mitigating contractual risks, as well as asserting claims and rights.Analyze contracts for both contractual opportunities and risks, with a focus on claims.Develop and execute a comprehensive claim strategy, maintaining continuous management of claims and change orders.Supervise the management and execution of contracts for rail projects in Taiwan, emphasizing strategic planning and risk management.Review, negotiate, and amend contracts, with a specific focus on technical specifications.Lead and mentor a team, ensuring efficient contract management and fostering team development.Organize and maintain a repository of all contract-related documents.Monitor contractual obligations for compliance and manage variations, assessing their cost impacts to enhance project profitability.Timely submission and follow-up of contract-compliant notices, coordinating with project and legal teams.Implement robust change management processes and procedures.Manage claims and opportunities, including substantiation, analysis, and submission.Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and external partners on contract-related matters.Keep stakeholders informed about contract status, risks, and progress in claim resolution.Ensure adherence to legal standards and compliance with industry-specific regulations.Participate in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control activities related to contracts.RequirementsProficient in Taiwan Procurement Law; knowledge of local procurement laws is advantageous. Experience in Taiwan construction industry claims is a plus. Professional background interacting with diverse teams. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field; certifications like PMP, CPCM preferred, MRICS highly advantageous. In-depth understanding of international project management and contractual nuances. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. Willingness to travel. Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with Planning Software like Primavera P6/Microsoft Project. Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Financial acumen in budgeting and cost control.
