Job Summary
IFF is a worldwide producer of Flavors and Fragrances that are used in a variety of consumer products. Consumers can experience these Flavors and Fragrances in drinks, candy, dairy, pharmaceutical, food and savory products as in perfumes, beauty care products and laundry detergents.The Contract Manager is the site leadership position that IFF holds accountable for the overall direction and coordination of all on site contracting activity.Development and implementation of site contract administration procedures and processesLeads the development of and implementation of site contracting strategy and the site contractor safety planOversight and training of Field Contract Administrators on siteAdherence to IFF Core Values throughout contracting processImplementation of the six step process for contractor safety Contractor prequalification process including variance processBid package development including site conditions and scope developmentManaging the bid cycle and contract award process with SourcingProviding and documenting contractor safety orientation with the SHE professionalAuditing contractor training including home office auditsEnsures compliance with regulatory and IFF safety requirementsManaging the post job evaluation process in collaboration with Procurement and EHSResponsible for the receipt of services process on site, including working with accounts payable to resolve invoice issuesAssisting with injury management and incident investigationsManages the interface between the contractors, legal, sourcing, SHE, accounts payable, tax, the project process and any other partyMaintains the appropriate corporate and site level metrics to improve the CA process
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree. Business, Engineering or Safety Management preferred. Fluent English and Dutch Five plus years experience in all aspects of plant operations, SHE managing processes, with understanding of contracting, financial controls, construction, maintenance temporary staffing and CA requirements.Field Contract Administration Management or Procurement experience is preferred.Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to influence change. Demonstrated ability to work with many individuals, oversee strategic and tactical contractor administration processes. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks, setting and communicating priorities, and understanding the business drivers.Effective oral and written communication skills, the ability to present information to all levels in the organization and address external organizations. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective task planning. Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite, finance reporting tools.
